/ph3What We Are Looking For /h3pFor a leading international Defence company based in Rome, we are looking for an bEmbedded C++ Software Engineer /b to support the development of advanced breal-time and safety-critical systems /b.
/ppThe selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, integration and validation of software applications running on embedded platforms based on Linux and RTOS technologies, contributing to mission-critical Defence programs.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop and maintain embedded software applications in C++; /liliImplement software solutions for real-time and safety-critical systems; /liliDevelop and integrate software components on Linux and VxWorks platforms; /liliDesign and optimize multithreaded applications and synchronization mechanisms; /liliDevelop communication interfaces and networking functionalities; /liliManage serial communications and protocol integration activities; /liliSupport software integration, testing and troubleshooting activities; /liliCollaborate with hardware, system engineering and validation teams; /liliProduce and maintain technical documentation according to project standards; /liliContribute to software verification and validation activities.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3h3Mandatory /h3ulliDegree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related disciplines; /liliProven experience in Embedded Software Development; /liliStrong knowledge of C++; /liliGood knowledge of Python; /liliExperience with Embedded Linux environments; /liliExperience with RTOS architectures and real-time systems; /liliKnowledge of VxWorks or similar OS; /liliStrong understanding of multithreading,
concurrency and synchronization mechanisms; /liliExperience with communication protocols and networking concepts; /liliExperience with serial communication interfaces; /liliKnowledge of Git Hub; /liliExperience with Jenkins and CMake; /liliExperience in software integration, testing and troubleshooting; /liliGood English communication skills.
/li /ulh3Preferred /h3ulliExperience in Defence, Aerospace, Railway or other safety-critical environments; /liliExperience in writing and maintaining technical documentation; /liliKnowledge of requirements and documentation management tools (DOORS or similar); /liliExperience working in Agile environments; /liliKnowledge of Jira and Confluence; /liliFamiliarity with CI/CD methodologies and automated software delivery processes.
