/ph3What We Are Looking For /h3pFor a leading international Defence company based in bRome /b, we are looking for a bC++/Qt Software Engineer /b with experience in the design and development of bGraphical User Interfaces (GUI) /b.
/ppThe selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, integration and validation of software applications, contributing to the creation of intuitive, user-friendly and high-performance interfaces.
The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective integration of user interfaces with application functionalities and to enhance the overall user experience.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop and maintain software applications using C++ and Qt; /liliDesign and implement modern, intuitive and responsive Graphical User Interfaces (GUI);Develop user interface components leveraging the main features of the Qt Framework; /liliManage user interactions, event handling and application workflows; /liliDesign and organize layouts according to usability and UX best practices; /liliIntegrate graphical interfaces with application functionalities and backend components; /liliCollaborate with software,
system and validation teams throughout the development lifecycle; /liliContribute to the improvement of User Experience (UX) and usability aspects; /liliSupport software integration, testing and troubleshooting activities; /liliProduce and maintain technical documentation according to project standards.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3pMandatory /pulliDegree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines; /liliProven experience in C++ Software Development; /liliStrong knowledge of the Qt Framework and its main components; /liliExperience in the design and development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI); /liliExperience with event handling, signals slots, widgets and layout management; /liliExperience integrating user interfaces with application functionalities; /liliKnowledge of User Experience (UX) principles and usability best practices; /liliKnowledge of Git Hub version control systems; /liliExperience with Jenkins and CMake; /liliExperience in software integration, testing and troubleshooting; /liliGood English communication skills.
/li /ulh3Preferred /h3ulliExperience in Defence, Aerospace, Railway or other highly regulated environments; /liliExperience in writing,
maintaining and managing technical documentation; /liliKnowledge of requirements and documentation management tools such as DOORS or similar; /liliExperience working in Agile environments; /liliKnowledge of Jira and Confluence; /liliFamiliarity with CI/CD methodologies and automated software delivery processes; /liliKnowledge of software design patterns and software architecture principles; /liliExperience with Qt Quick/QML.
