/p h3What We Are Looking For /h3 pFor a leading international Defence company based in Rome, we are looking for an bEmbedded C++ Software Engineer /b to support the development of advanced breal-time and safety-critical systems /b.
/p pThe selected candidate will be involved in the design, development, integration and validation of software applications running on embedded platforms based on Linux and RTOS technologies, contributing to mission-critical Defence programs.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop and maintain embedded software applications in C++; /li liImplement software solutions for real-time and safety-critical systems; /li liDevelop and integrate software components on Linux and VxWorks platforms; /li liDesign and optimize multithreaded applications and synchronization mechanisms; /li liDevelop communication interfaces and networking functionalities; /li liManage serial communications and protocol integration activities; /li liSupport software integration, testing and troubleshooting activities; /li liCollaborate with hardware, system engineering and validation teams; /li liProduce and maintain technical documentation according to project standards; /li liContribute to software verification and validation activities.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pMandatory /p ul liDegree in Software Engineering,
Electronics Engineering or related disciplines; /li liProven experience in Embedded Software Development; /li liStrong knowledge of C++; /li liGood knowledge of Python; /li liExperience with Embedded Linux environments; /li liExperience with RTOS architectures and real-time systems; /li liKnowledge of VxWorks or similar OS; /li liStrong understanding of multithreading, concurrency and synchronization mechanisms; /li liExperience with communication protocols and networking concepts; /li liExperience with serial communication interfaces; /li liKnowledge of Git Hub; /li liExperience with Jenkins and CMake; /li liExperience in software integration, testing and troubleshooting; /li liGood English communication skills.
/li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liExperience in Defence, Aerospace, Railway or other safety-critical environments; /li liExperience in writing and maintaining technical documentation; /li liKnowledge of requirements and documentation management tools (DOORS or similar); /li liExperience working in Agile environments; /li liKnowledge of Jira and Confluence; /li liFamiliarity with CI/CD methodologies and automated software delivery processes.
