We are seeking an ambitious and driven Category Manager to support the development and growth of our EU Food category, ensuring we provide customers with the right selection of products at competitive prices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in category management, buying, merchandising or procurement, with a strong ability to build meaningful supplier relationships and translate market and customer insights into effective category strategies.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape category strategy and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce business.
/ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliManage the end-to-end category management process, including assortment, pricing, supplier management, inventory and promotions.
/liliDevelop and nurture strategic partnerships with key national, regional and local suppliers.
/liliAnalyse category performance, customer demand, market trends and assortment gaps to identify growth opportunities.
/liliBuild and continuously optimise the product assortment to meet local customer needs.
/liliMonitor inventory levels to ensure healthy stock availability and inventory efficiency.
/liliDevelop and execute category sales strategies, including pricing and promotional activities.
/liliBuild long-term category strategies tailored to local market needs.
/liliWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations and Product teams.
/li /ulh3About You /h3ulliRelevant experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or Procurement, ideally within EU food.
/liliStrong understanding of customers, market dynamics, assortment and commercial principles.
/liliExperience in supplier management and building effective commercial partnerships.
/liliStrong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making skills.
/liliEffective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
/liliHighly driven, proactive and results-oriented.
/liliFluent in Italian and English.
