h3Manufacturing Engineer (9 Month Contract) /h3ulliFull-time /liliDepartment: Operations EMEA /li /ulpThis is a critical position within the production team working on dynamic challenges and varied projects where you will have a tangible effect on the efficiency of Rotork's production.
It is a 9 month contract position, based at our Porcari, Lucca site.
/ppReporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this role is to ensure the continuous improvements of production tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within the Bath factory.
/ppIn the Manufacturing Engineer role you will design, implement and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout.
You will partake in audits, technical support and problem investigations/ resolutions with a view to suggest new processes and equipment where applicable and appropriate.
/ppThis role would suit a proactive candidate who is motivated in problem solving and driving solutions forwards.
You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.
/ph3Experience Requirements /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a Technical Diploma.
/liliMinimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, or Industrial Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
/liliHands?on experience in an engineering?led production environment manufacturing electromechanical products.
/liliPractical application of Lean Manufacturing principles,
Continuous Improvement methodologies, and process improvement tools, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements.
/liliStrong knowledge and practical experience of Lean tools and problem?solving methodologies, including: 5S, 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Analysis, Gap Analysis, Timing Methods /liliProficiency in data analysis, process performance measurement, and root cause analysis.
/liliExperience using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Solid Edge .
/liliAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
/liliFluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (minimum B2 level).
