Following a structured onboarding period at our Global HQ in Florence, Italy, you will relocate to Mumbai to lead end-to-end Air Ocean import/export operations, optimize logistics workflows, and manage local operational teams.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libOperational Leadership: /b Oversee daily Ocean Air freight movements, ensuring high service levels, optimal transit times, and flawless execution from origin to destination.
/li libCarrier Vendor Management: /b Negotiate operational terms, allocate volume across ocean liners and airlines, and audit performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) with drayage, customs, and warehousing partners.
/li libProcess Standardization Compliance: /b Implement local SOPs, enforce strict compliance with international transport regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms ****.
/li libEscalation Exception Management: /b Serve as the senior point of escalation to resolve supply chain disruptions, port congestion, routing issues, and operational bottlenecks.
/li libPerformance Metrics Systems:
/b Track operational KPIs (file profitability, dwell time, carrier compliance) and maintain absolute data integrity within the TMS platform.
/li /ul h3Onboarding Relocation Structure /h3 pImmersive training on company operational systems, global control tower frameworks, standard operating procedures, and cross-functional alignment.
/p pRelocate to Mumbai to take direct control of local logistics operations, manage ground teams, and drive operational efficiency.
/p h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul libExperience: /b 3–5 years in freight forwarding operations, station management, or international logistics execution (Air Ocean required).
/li libLanguages: /b Professional fluency in Italian and English (required); working knowledge of Hindi is an asset.
/li libTechnical Expertise: /b Comprehensive knowledge of import/export documentation (HBL/MBL, AWB, Bill of Lading), customs clearance, Incoterms ****, and transport management systems (TMS).
/li libMobility: /b Full commitment to execute a multi-year assignment in India.
