Be part of a team where your work safeguards lives and powers progress. For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Pioltello, Milan a dynamic and motivatedMechanical R&D; Engineer.
Main taks:

- Design and construction of electrical system/products and project-based solutions.
- Perform finite element analyses (tension/stress, fatigue, hardware analysis, welding, aging frequency/vibration) to aid and optimize design and validation of new products,
focusing on modeling welded/bolted/riveted joints, fatigue, proof stresses, and safety factors according to railway norms and best practices.
- Provide technology innovations and high product reliability.
- Keep design database updated in order to trace and produce right apparatuses.
- Keep high level of technology in mechanical & electrical products.
- Validate all mechanical & electrical design of dedicated group.
Requirements

- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with experience in FE simulation for mechanical validation. Other master degree can be evaluated (like: electrical engineer…).

- Electrical AC/DC Medium / High voltage as a strong plus.
- Development or technical design on mechanical or electro-mechanical devices is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of successful industrial experience.
- Very good knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software (Solidworks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, etc
