About the Role
The Draftsman ensures the timely development of accurate and reliable technical drawings and documentation that support engineering, manufacturing and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
The role translates engineering concepts into clear, compliant and high-quality technical documentation, ensuring alignment with project requirements, applicable standards and Company procedures.
Responsibilities
Design Production
- Support the Design Engineer throughout the design development process, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, procedures and project requirements.
- Develop detailed drawings for machinery, steel structures and other project components, using CAD and 3D modelling sofware (e.G. AutoCAD, Inventor), ensuring alignment with engineering calculations, design requirements and applicable standards.
- Translate engineering concepts, calculations and design requirements into accurate, clear and complete technical drawings.
- Produce and update 2D and 3D drawings and models, ensuring the accuracy, consistency and completeness of engineering documentation before issue.
- Incorporate design revisions, engineering changes and customer comments into technical drawings, ensuring proper document control and traceability.
