YOUR MAIN TASKS:
- Lead the development of new heat‑shrink tubing and sealing products from concept, design, and validation through to industrialisation and product launch.
- Translate customer application requirements into robust product specifications covering thermal, mechanical, electrical, sealing, and environmental performance.
- Develop and optimise polymer‑based solutions including single‑wall and dual‑wall tubing, adhesive‑lined products, sealing sleeves, and moulded components.
- Design, execute, and analyse laboratory, pilot‑scale, and manufacturing trials involving extrusion, crosslinking, expansion, moulding, and adhesive technologies.
- Drive product verification, qualification, risk assessment, and reliability activities using DFMEA, DOE, statistical analysis, and structured problem‑solving tools.
