Layout & Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist

to join the

Layout & Piping Department

within the

Engineering, Technology and Research & Development Division .

The Layout & Piping Mechanical Critical Application Specialist, under the supervision of the Group Leader, will contribute to the mechanical analysis and design of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports.




The role focuses on complex mechanical applications requiring advanced engineering analyses, ensuring compliance with applicable Engineering Practices, international codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Performing advanced mechanical analyses and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of critical piping components, piping systems, and pipe supports.
Performing engineering calculations for piping systems operating under critical conditions, including high pressure and/or high temperature applications.
Analyzing systems subject to cyclic service, creep conditions, or other demanding operating scenarios.
Performing mechanical assessments of large-diameter piping and components outside standard ANSI/ASME dimensions.
Analyzing piping systems and components subject to high applied loads or complex geometries.
Performing mechanical analyses of piping connections to critical equipment.
Developing and verifying technical solutions for critical pipe sup
