International Fashion Brand / HR Operations / Milan - A global Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to join its EMEA HR team in Milan. The Senior HR Advisor will act as the local HR subject matter expert, supporting employee relations, HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment legislation. The role will serve as a key link between employees, managers, external partners, and regional HR teams. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations experience, deep knowledge of Italian employment law, and the ability to support a fast‑paced international environment. Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on Italian employment legislation, labour regulations, and HR compliance matters
- Support employee relations including disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and workplace matters
- Manage employee lifecycle administration including contracts,
employee changes, transfers, promotions, and off‑boarding
- Manage payroll inputs, payroll validation, reconciliation, and employee payroll enquiries
- Administer employee vantaggi programmes and coordinate with benefit providers and brokers
- Ensure compliance with statutory HR requirements including employment documentation, registrations, social insurance, and reporting
- Support HR audits, regulatory reviews, and communication with external authorities
- Partner with business leaders, regional HR teams, Legal, Finance, and external providers on HR initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in HR or related field; professional HR qualification preferred
- 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles
- Strong knowledge of Italian employment law, labour regulations, and HR compliance
- Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration
- Experience working in a multinational enviro
