IT System Quality Engineer II
As an IT System Quality Engineer II, you'll help ensure the technology that powers APS is reliable, secure, and ready to support our employees and customers. You'll partner with project teams to build quality into technology solutions from the start, helping identify risks, improve system performance, and ensure new applications meet business needs before they go live. Your work plays an important role in delivering dependable technology that supports the safe and reliable delivery of energy to Arizona communities.
What Your Day Would Be Like:
- Partner with project teams to build quality into applications and technology solutions from planning through implementation.
- Identify risks early and recommend testing and quality strategies that improve system reliability and project outcomes.
- Collaborate with developers, business partners, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Evaluate system performance, testing results, and quality metrics to support informed project decisions.
- Present quality findings and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders, helping teams make confident, data-driven decisions.
Who We're Looking For:
- Experience with software quality assurance, quality engineering, or IT testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, risk-based testing, and technology quality practices.
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
