Location: Poppi (AR) or Oleggio (NO)
Your Tasks as Local Buyer:
- Procurement Management: You are responsible for the operational procurement of raw materials for our production site in Poppi, near Florence, and, when required, for our second Italian site in Oleggio.
- Inventory Planning: You ensure the timely purchasing of direct materials and, where necessary, indirect materials based on inventory targets, minimum stock levels, and supplier lead times.
- Supplier Performance Management: You manage supplier relationships and continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- SAP Data & Systems: You maintain purchasing master data and procurement parameters within SAP, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency.
- Purchase Order Management: You oversee the complete purchase order process, including administration and follow-up activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: You collaborate closely with colleagues across Warehouse, Finance, Planning, R&D;, and Manufacturing to support smooth operations and supply continuity.
- Inventory Excellence:



You actively contribute to inventory optimization initiatives, including the reduction of SLOB (Slow-Moving and Obsolete Inventory).

Your Qualifications / Competencies as Local Buyer:
- You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Alternatively, you have completed relevant vocational training combined with several years of professional experience in a similar role.
- You possess solid hands‑on experience working with SAP and have a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- You enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment and thrive in cross‑functional teams.
- You are fluent in Italian and have a good command of English, enabling you to communicate effectively in a business context.
- You are willing to relocate to Poppi/Oleggio or the surrounding area, or you are already based nearby.
