pLocation: Remote EU /ppDepartment: IT / Engineering /ppEmployment Type: Full-time (B2B contract) /ph3About the role /h3pWe are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to join a highly technical infrastructure team responsible for complex, production-grade cloud environments. /ppThis is not simply an operational cloud role. You will be expected to understand the existing environment, identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement, and actively contribute ideas around cloud architecture, Kubernetes, automation, reliability and security. /ppThe role also includes a customer-facing dimension. You should be comfortable discussing technical topics with customers when required, explaining infrastructure decisions clearly and representing the engineering team in technical conversations. /ppThe environment is primarily AWS and Kubernetes, with a strong Infrastructure-as-Code and automation focus. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, operate and continuously improve production cloud infrastructure, primarily on bAWS /b. /liliAssess existing cloud environments, identify architectural or operational weaknesses and propose practical improvements. /liliWork extensively with Kubernetes in production environments, contributing to platform architecture, reliability and scalability. /liliBuild and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code practices. /liliDevelop and improve infrastructure automation, including configuration management using tools such as Ansible. /liliStrengthen platform reliability, resilience, observability and security. /liliIdentify opportunities to reduce manual operational work through automation.



/liliContribute to cloud and Kubernetes architecture decisions and introduce relevant engineering best practices. /liliSupport troubleshooting, incident investigation and root-cause analysis across production environments. /liliDevelop scripts and internal automation using languages such as Python, Bash, Java or similar where appropriate. /liliParticipate in technical discussions with customers, translating requirements and infrastructure topics into clear technical solutions. /liliCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure and reliability considerations are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle. /liliShare knowledge, challenge existing approaches constructively and help raise engineering standards across the team. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliSenior-level experience in Cloud, Platform, DevOps, Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering. /liliStrong hands-on expertise with AWS, including a broad understanding of AWS architecture and best practices. /liliAbility to evaluate an existing AWS environment and independently recommend architectural, reliability, automation or security improvements. /liliAdvanced production Kubernetes experience is essential.
