Overview
In this role you lead Mechanical designs for datacentre projects, coordinating with electrical teams and managing client-facing delivery. You’ll guide junior engineers, perform key design work as needed, and ensure high-quality, sustainable cooling, ventilation, automation, and support systems. You’ll work within Ramboll’s Data Centre Facilities team to deliver technically robust solutions and strong client care in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Responsabilità
- Represent Ramboll on Datacentre projects and lead your discipline while managing engineers in a complementary discipline
- Drive project delivery with initiative and minimal supervision for all technical aspects
- Utilise design production tools (CAD, Bluebeam, calculations) and collaborate with BIM technicians
- Complete detailed designs and supervise others in this function
- Inspire confidence internally and externally to strengthen client relationships
- Commit to and manage project delivery timelines
- Coordinate tasks as project Mechanical lead to ensure deadlines are met and allocate resources appropriately
Requisiti fondamentali
- Qualified engineer with a proven track record in their discipline
- Experience with mission-critical systems in datacentre or similar critical environments
- CIBSE / IET / IMechE accredited honours degree, or HNC, with progression towards IEng or CEng
- Excellent communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts
- Interest in or experience with digital and parametric design tools
