Job Title

Operations Specialist

Fully proficient Floor Management professional working independently on floor planning, exhibitor placement, venue layouts, event-floor coordination and operational planning activities. Operations Specialist in the Events and Trade Show Sector for Maternity Leave Replacement. You have experience in the sector? Are you proficient in English and interested in working in an international, dynamic environment?

Responsibilities and Duties

- Manage or participate in managing and coordinating the operations for the shows within the portfolio.
- Prepare the "Participation Dossier", verify, together with the legal firm, the aspects related to the Regulations and GDPR (Privacy) and ensure their correct implementation in the event documentation; prepare the Useful Information for Exhibitors.
- Draft (using AutoCAD LT) and validate the event layout or the assigned Halls in coordination with the sales targets set by management, considering commercial needs.
- Manage the suppliers responsible for the realization of setups and/or various supplies.




- Oversee and control exhibitors' stand projects and obtain the necessary authorizations from the location.
- Guarantee effective communication between exhibitors and the sales and marketing teams to resolve or anticipate issues related to the realization of various areas.
- Coordinate the activities of the team involved in organizing and executing the show by providing continuous support; proactively facilitate coordination meetings to keep track of project progress.
- In collaboration with a consulting firm, coordinate activities related to maintaining the ISO20121:2024 certification (sustainable event management); define objectives, update documentation, and participate in audits with the auditing company.

Required Qualifications

- University degree or specialization school.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the sector.
- Good knowledge of the English language and of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD LT is appreciated.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours & Location

Full-time (8 hours per day)

Milan – ViaMarostica,1 (availability for travel within Italy or abroad)

Salary





Primary Location Base Pay Range: Italy – Milan (ViaMarostica) €32600–€54300. This role is covered by a collective labor agreement in Italy.
