ABOUT THE JOB The Global Revenue planning manager leads the commercial planning, performance management and forecasting process globally, across the business organization. (Location: Based in any Group legal entity/site in Italy or USA). The role delivers strategic insights to senior leadership, and drives continuous improvement in sales performance through data-driven decision-making. Acting as a key business partner to Sales, Finance, Operations, , and Executive Management, the position supports the achievement of commercial and financial objectives while fostering operational excellence.
The position is also responsible for leading the processes to generate the Sales Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales Rolling Forecast cycles (RFC – e.g., 3+9, 6+6) for the top line of the Medical Division, ensuring accurate, timely, and aligned Sales top-line revenue projections in line with the strategic direction provided by the Head of Global Business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Global S&OP; / Forecast
Execute the global sales forecast/budget commitment process.
Lead the commercial side of the S&OP.; Consolidate input from Business Unit Accounts Manager. Ensure forecasts are realistic, data-driven, aligned with pipeline maturity, and consistent across regions. Act as the single point of accountability for forecast quality and reliability.
2. Sales AOP & Sales Rolling Forecast
Coordinate the global Sales top-line revenue planning processes, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Rolling Forecast cycles (e.g., 3+9, 6+6). Ensure alignment of revenue projections with commercial strategy, pipeline maturity, and business assumptions. Drive consistency, transparency, and governance across regions and business units. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Sales Business Unit and Regional leadership to ensure robust, data-driven projections and performance tracking aligning the sales planning output with the strategic direction defined by the Head of Global Business.
