As a Mechanical Setter / Maintenance Technician (Setter Manutentore Meccanico), you will set up, adjust, and maintain production and machining equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. What You Will Do
- Set up, adjust, and change over mechanical production and machining equipment to meet production requirements
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
- Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and set-up needs to support production
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions or improvements
- Follow all safety, quality, and lockout/tagout procedures
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Technical diploma or vocational training in a mechanical field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience setting up and maintaining production or machining equipment xivgfpx
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule as required
