POSITION SUMMARY
The role of a Service Technician I directly supports the company's mission by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of wind turbine generators, which are integral to producing 100% renewable energy. The Service Technician I is responsible for performing turbine maintenance and operational tasks in accordance with high safety standards.
This role collaborates closely with the operational and back‑office teams to ensure a high level of availability in the wind farm, supporting strong service performance for our customers and contributing to the company’s future growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform routine wind turbine maintenance and basic repairs following established procedures
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under the guidance of experienced technicians
- Complete maintenance reports, track work activities, and manage service tickets
- Support inventory and material management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and tools
- Prepare tools, materials, and documentation needed for scheduled work
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE inspections, toolbox talks, vehicle inspections, and incident reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and turbine performance
- Work closely with team members and support additional site operations as needed
WHAT YOU HAVE
- High school diploma or GED required; technical, wind energy, or engineering education preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, construction, or a relate
