INAF- Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri in Italy invites researchers to join a project aiming to model space telescopes with active primary mirrors, develop numerical codes for adaptive optics, and integrate thermo-opto-mechanical testing.
The role includes performance studies of a high-order active wavefront control system, laboratory testing of an active mirror prototype, and collaboration within a European research framework.
