We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Commis de Rang to join our Food & Beverage Thompson Rome Pre-opening Team Reporting to the Maitre, the ideal candidate will maintain positive guest and colleague interactions, building strong working relationships while ensuring excellent customer service. With a natural flair for lifestyle hospitality and strong communication skills, the Commis de Rang works closely with outlet's colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our Guests.
Seats and serve food and beverages to guests according to established sequence and procedures. Present menus, answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and service
Clear and reset tables at the conclusion of each course
Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service throughout operations
Knows how to use the Micros system
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives when required
Provide a welcoming and professional service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Promote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the outlet
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset
Native or Fluent in Italian and English. Any additional language is a plus
Flexible and supportive team player with a positive attitude
