Responsibilities

- Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance production teams also auxiliary workshops and wheel lathes teams where relevant
- Monitor and control Production output on a shift-by-shift basis.
- Help the depot manager in managing organisational change in order to optimise working practices and thus ensure a productive workforce.




- Ensure all Production activities meet the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards & customer specifications
- Help the depot manager in Identifing training certification/habilitation and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way.
- Review work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Participate to analysis where there was a failure.
- Help the depot manager in identifying areas for improvement by personal check, analysis of vehicle incident reports and complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements.
- Plan and coordinates operation and movements of the trains in the depot
- Help the depot manager continuous improvement of processes.
