Overview
In this role you support the expansion and qualification of a European supplier base for Build-to-Print components and machined assemblies. You will bring manufacturing expertise to assess and develop suppliers, enabling quality, cost, delivery, and technology targets. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Sourcing, NPI and Supplier Quality to drive supplier capability and manufacturability improvements. Responsabilità
- Partner with cross-functional teams to clearly define manufacturing requirements for suppliers
- Support manufacturability reviews with suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and lead time
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop new suppliers across Europe for strategic sourcing
- Conduct supplier capability assessments, technical evaluations, and on-site audits




- Assess suppliers’ CNC machining capabilities, including equipment, processes, tooling, fixturing, programming, capacity, and process controls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance quality, delivery, productivity, and cost competitiveness
- Lead discussions with suppliers on machining methods, process optimization, tolerancing, GD&T;, and special processes
- Support sourcing and purchasing during supplier selection and qualification
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Evaluate alternative manufacturing technologies and processes to reduce cost and improve quality and reliability

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (mechanical preferable)
- 5–10 years of manufacturing experience in CNC machining environments
- Strong understanding of Build-to-Print (BTP) manufacturing processes
- Deep knowledge of CNC milling,
