Sales Representative Surgical West of Sicily

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage and develop the objectives of the Surgical BU which bases its main pillars in the minimally invasive surgery sector (MiniLap® Percutaneous Surgical System to Weck® Hem-o-lok® Polymer Locking Ligation System, and Weck EFx® Shield™ Fascial Closure System) and Stoma Care devices (as exclusive Welland distributor for Italy). The assigned territory will be west Sicily (the whole of Sicily only for Stoma care devices)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Owner of the sales process being responsible for the promotional activity on your territory.
- Identify and support field sales efforts through customer needs assessment, product training, in-servicing, and required customer follow up (i.e., letters, approved product information, samples).
- Constant presence and support in the operating room.
- Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Reporting on territory sales result (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually).
- Participate in scientific and promotional activities at all identified local, regional,



and exhibitions (this may also include training and presentations).
- Work cooperatively with Corporate Accounts to support corporate customers (GPO’s, IDN’s, government facilities, etc.) with product information, product training, accurate cross-references and other technical information about Teleflex Medical products.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Educated to degree level in Healthcare or Nursing or with a proven equivalent work experience in the clinical specialty area, medical device sales or medical product training (as Sales representative/Territory Manager/Sales Specialist) this role would suit an individual with a minimum of 3 years’ experience selling into the laparoscopic market.
- Able to support Surgical procedures in the Operating room.
- Proven knowledge and relationship with main stakeholders within the territory: General Surgeons, Urologists, Gynecologists, Purchase Departments.
