Working at the intersection of /p pfinance and technology, you will turn financial data and business requirements into accurate, reliable tools. You will own features from end to end, from data queries and calculation logic through to the user interface. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ul lipDesign, build and maintain platform features, including summary metrics, interactive tables and data visualisations. /p /li lipTranslate financial methodologies such as valuation, PL attribution, exposure and cost basis into clean, well-tested backend logic. /p /li lipMake sure every figure reconciles accurately against source systems and existing reporting.



/p /li lipWrite and optimise SQL queries against our cloud data warehouse. /p /li lipKeep the platform fast and reliable through caching, performance tuning and robust error handling. /p /li lipWork closely with finance and operations stakeholders to gather requirements, validate results and deliver improvements. /p /li /ul h3Our stack /h3 ul lipBackend: Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, Google BigQuery, Redis /p /li lipFrontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, Recharts, Tailwind CSS /p /li lipInfrastructure: Google Cloud (Cloud Run), Google sign-in /p /li /ul ul lipSolid professional experience with Python, including building backend services or data applications. /p /li lipA good understanding of financial concepts: positions, PL (daily, MTD, YTD, ITD), NAV, exposure and cost basis. /p /li lipComfort writing non-trivial SQL, ideally on BigQuery or another cloud warehouse. /p /li lipA strong eye for detail and a habit of testing and reconciling numbers until they're right. /p /li lipClear communication, and the confidence to challenge and clarify requirements with finance teams. /p /li lipA MSc in Finance, or progress towards a professional qualification such as CFA or CAIA (Level I or above), or equivalent. /p /li /ul h3Advantageous /h3 ul lipFront-end experience with React and TypeScript, especially data-heavy UIs. /p /li lipExperience with BI and reporting tools, or building analytics dashboards. /p /li lipA background in asset management, fund administration, treasury or fintech. /p /li lipFamiliarity with multi-asset portfolios, e.g. equities, fixed income, digital assets and commodities. /p /li lipExperience with Google Cloud and caching strategies. /p /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
