Job Title: Service Integration & Operations Engineer
Employment Type: Permanent, Full‑Time
We are seeking an experienced Service Integration & Operations Engineer to join our team in Milan. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys deploying, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting business-critical services. You will work closely with architects, developers, testers, and operational teams to ensure reliable and efficient service delivery.
Deploy, configure, integrate, and maintain complex service platforms and applications.
Support end-to-end service delivery from pre-production validation through live operations.
Troubleshoot technical issues across distributed systems and perform root cause analysis.
Analyze logs, metrics, and system behavior to diagnose and resolve incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, architecture, and external vendors.
Drive production readiness, service validation, and operational excellence initiatives.
Develop operational procedures, deployment guidelines, and technical documentation.
Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in system integration,
technical operations, deployment, or support engineering.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting expertise.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
Experience with application deployment, configuration management, and production support.
Proficiency in log analysis, monitoring, and incident management.
Exposure to scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, containers, cloud technologies, and CI/CD practices.
Experience within Telecommunications, Voice, Messaging, Network Services, or OSS/BSS environments.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, or cloud-native platforms.
Background in multi-vendor system integration and service assurance processes.
