ph3Senior Business Developer | Renewable Energy | Milan, Italy /h3 h3About the role /h3 pBrightsmith are partnering with a leading international IPP with the appointment of a Senior Business Developer to join their growing Italian team, based in Milan. /p pThis is a key role within the Italian development team, focused on expanding the company's onshore wind and solar PV portfolio. You will have exposure across the full project lifecycle, working closely with MA, Legal, Financing and EPC teams both in Italy and internationally. /p pThe role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence how projects are originated, acquired, structured and brought through to construction. /p h3Key responsibilities: /h3 ul liIdentify and originate new onshore wind and solar PV opportunities across Italy /li liScreen and evaluate the acquisition of attractive renewable energy projects at various stages of development - from greenfield to shovel-ready assets /li liAssess technical, regulatory and commercial viability and prepare investment analyses /li liSupport the preparation of business plans with the MA, Financing and EPC departments /li liSupport NBO and BO processes through to signing and closing /li liPrepare investment memoranda and materials supporting senior/board-level investment decisions /li liSupport the negotiation of acquisition agreements alongside the Legal team /li liTake ownership of projects post-permitting through to FID and construction /li liCoordinate secondary permitting,
engineering studies, detailed design and EPC tendering /li liWork closely with Financing and EPC teams throughout the financial close, construction and COD processes /li /ul h3The ideal profile /h3 pWe're looking for someone who combines renewable energy development expertise with strong commercial and deal-making capabilities. /p pYou should have: /p ul liAn MSc in Engineering, Economics, Finance or a related discipline /li liProven experience within the renewable energy sector /li li4–5 years' hands-on experience in project valuation, MA and/or structuring /li liStrong knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market /li liExperience with onshore wind and/or solar PV /li liStrong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder-management skills /li liFluent Italian and English /li liThe ability to work effectively across Italian and international teams /li liWillingness to travel frequently, primarily within Italy /li /ul h3What's on offer? /h3 ul liGenuine ownership across the full renewable energy project lifecycle /li liThe opportunity to join a growing international renewable energy platform /li liInternational and collaborative working environment /li liClose collaboration with international HQ across MA, Legal, Financing and EPC /li liStrong opportunities for personal and professional development /li liEmployee premio plan /li liCompetitive salary package based on experience and qualifications /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
