Job Responsibilities /h3 h31. Health Safety Compliance /h3 ul liEstablish and implement local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies from scratch, ensuring strict compliance with Italian workplace safety regulations (e.g., D.Lgs. *****). /li liAct as the point of contact for local health and safety authorities (ASL, INAIL, Fire Department) and ensure all site certifications and permits are up to date. /li liDraft, update, and manage the Risk Assessment Document (DVR - Documento di Valutazione dei Rischi) for the hub and office facilities. /li /ul h32. Physical Security Loss Prevention /h3 ul liDevelop and oversee the physical security infrastructure of the sorting hub, including CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and perimeter security. /li liLead investigations into parcel losses, damages, or potential internal/external theft. Implement preventative measures to minimize shrinkage. /li liManage external security vendors (e.g., security guards, alarm response teams) and ensure service quality. /li /ul h33. Site Inspections Risk Management /h3 ul liConduct regular on-site safety audits and daily patrols on the warehouse floor to identify potential hazards (e.g., forklift operations, heavy lifting, sorting machinery).



/li liPromptly correct unsafe behaviors and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among all operational staff and third-party drivers. /li /ul h34. Emergency Response Accident Handling /h3 ul liDevelop and drill Emergency Response Plans (fire evacuation, first-aid protocols, natural disasters). /li liLead the investigation of any on-site accidents or near-misses, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to achieve a "Zero Accident" goal. /li /ul h35. Training Culture Building /h3 ul liOrganize and conduct mandatory HSE training for new hires, hub workers, and external drivers. /li liFoster a strong "Safety First" culture within the fast-paced, high-intensity logistics operations environment. /li /ul h3II. Qualifications /h3 ul libExperience: /b Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS, Security, or Loss Prevention management, ideally within the logistics, express delivery, e-commerce fulfillment, or manufacturing industries. /li libRegulatory Knowledge: /b Deep understanding of Italian labor laws and occupational health and safety legislation (specifically D.Lgs. *****). /li libHands-on Approach: /b Willingness to spend significant time on the warehouse floor (100% on-site). Highly resilient and capable of working in a fast-paced, 24/7 logistics startup environment. /li libLanguage Skills: /b Native or highly professional proficiency in bItalian /b and fluent in bEnglish /b. bProficiency in Mandarin Chinese is considered a strong plus /b. /li libSkills: /b Excellent communication, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
