The position can be performed mainly remotely, with periodic visits to Milan. /p h3Reporting line: Country Manager /h3 h3Objective /h3 pThe Development Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall development strategy for utility-scale BESS solar projects nationwide. The role involves overseeing and accelerating the development of renewable energy projects, managing internal and external stakeholders, and achieving project objectives within established timelines and budgets. /p pThe position requires leadership skills in team management, strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and regulatory compliance. The Development Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure alignment of the country's development strategy with corporate objectives. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Leadership and Development /h3 ul liCollaborate closely with senior management to define and implement the development strategy for utility-scale projects. /li liDefine and manage the development roadmap, identifying new business opportunities in line with corporate goals. /li liGuide and develop the country's development strategy, ensuring alignment with the Group's vision and objectives. /li /ul h3Budget and Financial Supervision /h3 ul liDefine development budgets and closely monitor project costs. /li liImplement budget control processes to ensure the financial efficiency of projects. /li liParticipate in the preparation of monthly management reporting and provide financial performance analyses. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Management and Representation /h3 ul liRepresent the company in relations with key stakeholders, including local authorities, landowners,
financial partners, and regulatory bodies. /li liLead negotiations and coordinate contracts regarding land acquisition and securing, feasibility studies, environmental studies, building permits, and participation in tenders and bids. /li liEnsure effective and collaborative relationships with municipal administrations, associations, and local communities for current and future projects. /li /ul h3Project Development and Permitting /h3 ul liOversee feasibility studies and manage the permitting process for new projects. /li liManage development project timelines, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and expected timelines for reaching Ready to Build (RTB) status. /li liEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding land use and project permitting. /li /ul h3Competitive Advantage and Market Analysis /h3 ul liStay up to date on market developments, competitor activities, and technological innovations, with a specific focus on areas such as agrivoltaics. /li liPerform competitive and regulatory intelligence to support the definition of project strategies and identify potential growth opportunities. /li liPromote innovation in project development to strengthen the company's competitive advantage in the renewable energy market. /li /ul h3Reporting and Monitoring /h3 ul liProvide periodic reports to senior management on project progress,
