Role Purpose
- Transform business needs and technical know-how into effective, user-centric digital solutions for Android and iOS, strictly following Schindler Digital Design Guidelines and Digital Plan and
Design X8 resources.
- Define and implement user interface and user experience for Schindler mobile applications
(Android/iOS).
- Ensure compliance with Schindler’s branding and usability standards.
- Deliver intuitive, accessible, and visually consistent mobile experiences for Schindler users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the instructional design and UI/UX scripting phase, converting subject matter expert expertise into structured, visually engaging designs and scripts for mobile platforms.
- Use structured templates and AI tools for scripting, focusing on performance outcomes and learner context.
- Conduct content extraction workshops, develop learning architecture, and create storyboards/scripts with iterative subject matter expert reviews.
- Collaborate closely with content creation teams for asset development (eLearning, 2D/3D,
voice-over, ...), ensuring instructional alignment and technical accuracy.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets for Android and iOS.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and usability testing.
- Apply Schindler’s design system and guidelines throughout the design process.
Process & Documentation Standards
- Follow Schindler’s process phases: Needs Identification, Instructional Design & Scripting,
Content Creation & Reviews.
- Use approved workflows, templates, and guidelines for all deliverables.
- Build review buffers, consolidate feedback, and empower single decision-makers for sign-off.
- Apply Schindler’s risk mitigation measures: early subject matter expert involvement, clear objectives, formal change
