As a technical liaison and subject matter expert on all things Proofpoint, you will help to deliver People-Centric solutions that protect against today's cyber threats.



/p pYou will get to develop and tell a compelling story that will excite your customer and have them eager to hear more. Your story will be illustrated with an amazing product demonstration often followed by a proof-of-concept or threat assessment which will ultimately result in you providing a compelling solution to your customer that you will take pride in being a part of. It's an exciting time to be at Proofpoint! /p ul liCollaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies /li liYou will design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions encompassing the entire Proofpoint portfolio /li liOccasionally assist in professional services deployments and technical training, and present or attend industry seminars and/or trade shows /li liProvide valuable customer insights and real-world experiences to Product Management, Marketing and Product Development (Engineering) teams /li liWork with our Channel team to help support and enable our Distributors and Resellers /li liYou will become an expert in Email Security, Advanced Persistent Threats, Attack Protection, Threat Response, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and the threat landscape /li liOccasional travel required. /li /ul h3What You Bring To The Team /h3 ul liProven hands?on experience, either as a Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior level product support, preferably related to the cyber?security industry /li liExperience in either secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP?related cybersecurity desirable /li liExcellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills /li liFluent Italian and business level English language is required.



Any additional languages are a plus. /li liExposure to at least two of the following skill sets are recommended ul liEnterprise email solutions such as Exchange, O365, G?Suite, Lotus Dominoorworking knowledge of SMTP /li liIT security related areas such as Vulnerability and Risk Management, Security Operations or Incident Response /li liData Loss Prevention (DLP), compliance and data privacy /li liCloud security and shadow IT monitoring /li liCloud computing Infrastructure (e.g. AWS/Azure) /li /ul /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 pHands on experience with the following /p ul liDirectory Services and protocols such as Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, iDP (identity providers) /li liEmail authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) /li liNetworking and protocols such as DNS, LDAP, /li liExperience with security standards and frameworks such as ISO, MITRE and/or NIST /li liCISSP, CCSP or other industry certification is beneficial. /li /ul pIn addition to the above, if you have a consultative approach to problem solving and/or have a desire to pivot your career towards a sales direction.
