We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team in a cross-functional technical role, supporting a wide range of business activities and projects.

Main Responsibilities





- Analyze technical specifications, tender documentation, and project requirements.
- Provide technical support in defining solutions and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
- Draft technical specifications, scope-of-supply descriptions, and proposal documentation.
- Oversee the work carried out by external consultants, ensuring progress is aligned with project objectives and requirements.
- Perform testing and commissioning activities, prepare customer demonstrations, and provide operational support to various business functions.

Profile required

We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented, reliable, and versatile professional who can adapt to changing priorities and confidently contribute across a variety of technical activities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities, organizational skills, and a collaborative approach when working with customers, external consultants, and colleagues.

Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Approximately 3–6 years of professional experience in engineering, system integration, or electronic systems environments.
- Solid knowledge of electronics, hardware/software systems, and networking technologies.
- Hands-on approach to testing, verification, and commissioning activities.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with technical specifications, public tenders, or technical proposal preparation is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel and to attend training periods at Lumiplan sites in Grenoble and/or Nantes to gain in-depth knowledge of the Group’s products, systems, and tools.
- Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Florence area, preferably Florence South, Impruneta, or nearby locations.
