- Must be able to operate CNC machining centers, such as mills and lathes
- Make and revise CNC programs
- Able to perform set-ups on all machines
- Capable of learning processes such as drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring and turning
- Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Use fixtures to produce parts
- Maintain a clean, safe workplace
- Overtime commitment when needed
Job Responsibilities
- Must be able to operate CNC machining centers, such as mills and lathes
- Make and revise CNC programs
- Able to perform set-ups on all machines
- Capable of learning processes such as drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring and turning
- Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Run deburring equipment
- Use fixtures to produce parts
- Maintain a clean, safe workplace
- Overtime commitment when needed
Experience And Skills Required
- Must have minimum of 2 years CNC machine operation experience and knowledge
- Able to operate conventional machines, such as, but not limited to: engine lathe, Bridgeport, turret lathe, and radial drill press
- Able to learn CNC programming software
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, standing, and squatting) while performing all job tasks.
