Production & Quality Manager – Manufacturing

Location: Veneto, Italy

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Work Model: On-site / industrial environment

Salary: €60,000–€75,000 gross/year + performance premio

Overview

Senior manufacturing leadership role overseeing production, quality and procurement within a highly customised manufacturing environment. Responsible for operational performance, quality, planning, supply coordination and continuous improvement across the production value chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead production, assembly, machining and quality control operations.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across Quality, Production Planning, Workshop and Purchasing.
- Drive KPIs covering productivity, quality, delivery and service performance.
- Coordinate production planning and procurement to balance materials, capacity and demand.
- Partner with Technical and Commercial teams on customer projects and requirements.
- Oversee the Quality Management System and corrective/preventive actions.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Support digital manufacturing, ERP, MES and supply chain system improvements.
- Drive waste reduction, process optimisation and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with international Group stakeholders.

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Proven leadership experience within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing, ideally customised or engineer-to-order production.
- Experience across Production, Quality and Supply Chain functions.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Six Sigma, SMED or 5S experience advantageous.
- Experience with ERP, MES and advanced production planning systems.
- Opera MES, CyberPlan or Mago ERP experience advantageous.
- Fluent English.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive operational change.
