Overview
This role focuses on delivering value across CAPEX procurement for a portfolio of manufacturing projects. You will develop and execute procurement and contracting strategies that align with project objectives, while managing sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract awards. You’ll monitor spend, mitigate procurement risks, and ensure compliance with quality, EHS, legal and governance requirements.
Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive continuous improvement and report on savings, milestones and supplier performance. The opportunity offers hands-on impact in a global manufacturing context and exposure to complex capital projects.
Responsabilità
- Develop and implement project procurement and contracting strategies aligned with objectives
- Lead sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract award activities across CAPEX projects
- Manage commercial aspects of contracts, purchase orders, variations and supplier performance
- Monitor procurement expenditure, commitments and forecasted costs against budgets
- Identify and mitigate supply chain, procurement and contractor risks
- Ensure compliance with quality, EHS, legal, sustainability and governance requirements
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering, Legal and EHS teams
- Provide regular reporting on procurement activities, contract status, risks, savings and milestones
- Support contractor onboarding, documentation management and site compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and promote procurement best practices across CAPEX projects
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Engineering, Project Controls, Commercial Management or related disciplines
- Experience in sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, tender evaluations and contract awards
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, construction or regulated environments
- Experience managing purchase orders, contracts, supplier relationships and change management processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement tools and project cost management practices
- Understanding of supplier risk management and compliance requirements
- Experience working with EHS, Quality, Legal and Finance functions
- Strong communication, organization and stakeholder management skills
