Pricing & Market Analyst – Energy Markets

Location: Verona, Veneto, Italy

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Work Model: Hybrid / Lavoro da remoto

Salary: €38,000–€43,000 gross/year

Overview

Pricing and market analysis role focused on Gas & Power markets, energy pricing, portfolio analysis and risk management. The position supports pricing strategies, procurement decisions and monitoring of national and European energy markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and update Gas & Power transfer prices across customer segments and offers.
- Define pricing for fixed, indexed and B2B energy offers.
- Analyse procurement costs, consumption profiles and portfolio risk.
- Support commercial pricing and price-list development.
- Monitor TTF, PSV, PUN, electricity markets, forward curves and futures.
- Analyse price and volume risk and support portfolio hedging strategies.
- Prepare regular market analysis and pricing reports.




- Automate data collection, processing and analysis in collaboration with ICT and Supply teams.
- Monitor market trends and key factors influencing energy prices.

Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related discipline.
- Previous experience in energy, utilities, energy trading or energy consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Gas & Power markets and energy procurement.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL or Python.
- Knowledge of pricing and risk management tools and methodologies.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Supply, Operations and Finance.
