Junior Marketing & Content Specialist

At Tropico Security, we're building the most effective early warning system in modern cybersecurity via next-gen deception techniques. We plant traps that attackers can't tell apart from the real thing and lures built to catch AI agents. Our clients include banks and critical infrastructure operators, and we're backed by the best VC funds in Europe.

We have a great story to tell, and we're looking for someone who can tell it.

Required Skills

Must have

- A background in communications, journalism, or a comparable field: you can find the story, interview the people who hold it, and write it up clearly and fast
- Video production end-to-end: shooting, editing, AI generation, sound, captions, and cutting the same footage for different formats
- Social media management: planning a content calendar, writing native copy for LinkedIn and X, community engagement, and reading analytics to decide what to do next
- A portfolio: articles, videos, or accounts you've grown that you can show us
- Proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to have

- Motion graphics and basic design, e.g. Canva
- Podcast or interview production experience
- B2B marketing experience: case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, event coverage




- SEO, website content management, and marketing automation tools
- Experience covering trade shows and conferences on the ground
- Interest in cybersecurity, hacking, deep tech

What we offer

You will work directly with the founders and own how the world sees Tropico. You'll interview our engineers, film our research, cover the events, and build our online presence.

Compensation

Salary EUR 30-45k based on experience.

Commitment & contract

Full-time, HQ in the center of Milan (Italy). Expect to travel often for events and filming.

The selection process

Every candidate goes through the same process. If you pass our initial screening, you'll be asked to complete a short creative exercise: a written piece and a short video based on material we'll provide. A remote interview with the founders follows, and the next stage is an on-site interview in Milan.
