YOUR ROLE You will join the R&D; Security team at STMicroelectronics, with the objective to study, design, implement, and evaluate secure software gadgets for masked protected Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) on embedded targets, with a focus on Cortex-M-class microcontrollers like STM32s.

You will focus on

State-of-the-art masked gadgets for protected software implementations Software optimizations for Cortex-M CPUs PQC algorithms such as ML-KEM and ML-DSA Performance analysis and comparison of different approaches Security evaluation using simulation and/or tools such as ChipWhisperer YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES Master's degree (on going or just completed) student in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or similar Good proficiency in C programming A strong interest in cryptography and secure embedded software An interest in microcontrollers, especially Cortex-M Motivation to learn about masking, side-channel resistance, and PQC * Be able to communicate effectively in English ST is proud to be one of the 17 companies certified as a 2025 Global Top Employer and the first and only semiconductor company to achieve this distinction.
