Overview vivo is looking for a Finance Specialist to support the daily finance and accounting activities of our office in Milan.

In this role, you will support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, review invoices and expense documentation, and assist with month-end closing, financial reporting and data reconciliation. You will work with colleagues across the business to help maintain accurate financial records and support efficient finance operations.

The ideal candidate has a foundation in finance or accounting, good Excel skills and strong attention to detail. This position is suitable for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years of relevant experience who is eager to learn and develop within an international technology company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Daily Finance Operations & Documentation

- Support daily accounts payable (AP)



and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
- Review invoices, expense claims and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation in line with internal procedures.

2. Month-End Closing & Reconciliation

- Assist with month-end closing activities, including the preparation and reconciliation of relevant financial data.
- Support bank reconciliations and the checking of account balances and supporting records.
- Identify discrepancies and follow up with relevant colleagues under the supervisor’s guidance.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, management reports and supporting analysis.
- Compile and check financial data to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Use Excel to organise data and perform basic financial analysis.

4. Business Data Reconciliation & Coordination

- Assist with the reconciliation of expenses, purchasing, sales and other business-related data against financial records.
- Coordinate with relevant colleagues to obtain missing documentation and clarify discrepancies.




- Support the accuracy and consistency of data used by the finance team.

5. Other Finance Support

- Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Support the team in maintaining efficient and organised daily finance processes.

Job Requirements

1. Education

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.

2. Work Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous relevant work experience in Italy is an advantage.

3. Professional Knowledge

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance processes.
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management and bank reconciliation.

4. Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organising data, using formulas and preparing basic reports.
- Basic data analysis skills and confidence working with numerical information.

5. Language Skills

- Professional working proficiency in local language is required.
- The ability to communicate professionally in Chinese (Mandarin) or English is an advantage.

6. Soft Skills & Core Competencies

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to complete assigned tasks reliably and on time.
