Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Key Account GDO will be responsible for managing key retail customers, developing commercial strategies, and delivering sustainable sales and profit growth through strong strategic customer partnerships.

We are partnering with a leading international Personal Care company to recruit a Key Account Manager who will play a key role in driving growth across the Italian Grocery Retail (GDO) and Drugstore channels.
Description
- Develop and manage relationships with major Grocery Retail (GDO) and Drugstore customers across Italy.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and market share through effective account management and commercial execution.
- Negotiate annual agreements, product listings, promotional plans, and trade terms with key customers.
- Define and implement sell-in and sell-out strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful execution of business plans.
- Analyze market data, sales performance, and category trends using NielsenIQ, Circana, and customer sales data.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning processes to ensure accurate business projections.
- Identify growth opportunities through category management insights and customer-focused commercial proposals.
- Monitor competitor activity,
promotional trends, and market dynamics to maximize business performance.
Profile A successful Key Account Manager GDO should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-6 years of sales experience within the FMCG sector, ideally in Personal Care, Beauty, Healthcare, or Consumer Goods.
- Strong knowledge of the Italian GDO and Drugstore channels.
- Proven experience managing national retail accounts and conducting commercial negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with sell-out data and market insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from €50,000 to €60,000.
- Performance-based premio (MBO)
