We are looking for a Scientific Data Management and Analysis Assistant to work in theIDATA Unit.

Responsabilità

The candidate will be working within the IDATA Unit providing support on the analysisand assessment of scientific data relevant to processes in EFSA. In particular, thecandidate will support the:
- Extraction, analysis and presentation of scientific data;
- Creation and maintenance of databases;
- Integration of data from multiple sources




- Development and optimization of pipelines to automate data validation,
- transformation and migration;
- Presentation of findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughreports and dashboards, oral presentations, or written communications.

Functie-eisen

Essential requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English (C1 level);
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology,Bioinformatics or related fields;
- At least 1 year of proven experience in evidence and data collection,management and analysis, including developing and maintaining data processingpipelines;
- Advanced Python programming skills;
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, e.g. Git;
- Experience with structured / machine-readable data exchange formats such asXML or JSON;
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
- Experience in writing scientific and/or technical documents;
