Product Sales Support Technician (m/f/d)

This is a technical role within the Product Sales Support Department, focused on in-depth analysis of products returned by customers to identify the root cause. As Product Sales Support Technician, you will be responsible for collecting data and generating the necessary reports, using statistical methods to identify areas of improvement, and working with the factories and management team to prioritize improvements and avoid the repetition of similar faults in the future.

Conducting in-depth analysis to find the root cause of product claims returned by customers, discussing possible solutions with the responsible departments
Managing the flow of product claim returns,



from logging on the claims schedule up to compiling the claim report, shared with the sales team
Gathering monthly statistical data on claims and identifying any recurring claims to solve issues proactively
Identifying areas of possible product improvement
Liaising with factories in Mexico and China on nonconforming products and discussing possible improvements
Serving as a technical link between factories and the warehouse in Milan, performing quality checks on nonconforming material in warehouse stock
Working with application engineers to gather data from applications and relate the failure mode to the way the product is being used in the customer’s application

Preferably in possession of an electrical/electronic technical degree
Knowledge and experience in power electronics and electrical circuit analysis
Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to produce quality technical documentation
Self-motivated, able to work independently without
