OverviewAs a Regional Account Manager for the public sector, you will manage key accounts across public administration, guiding cybersecurity transformation and promoting a security-first culture aligned with Fortinet’s values. You will build executive relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive adoption of Fortinet solutions to meet sales targets. This role combines strategic account leadership with regulatory awareness across Italy and Europe, offering meaningful impact in public sector cybersecurity.

Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet/exceed sales targetsDrive adoption of Fortinet products and services across public sector accounts, supporting long-term customer successBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and strategic partners in public administrationCoordinate internal teams to deliver proposals, RFI/RFP responses,



and statements of workPromote cybersecurity awareness and best practices aligned with Italian and European regulationsServe as lead contact for information flow to/from executive managementMaximize Fortinet opportunities while delivering value-added solutions to public sector customersMaintain accurate pipeline and sales forecastCollaborate with partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionalsTravel within the assigned territory as required to support opportunities

Requisiti fondamentali

Proven experience in technology sales, ideally in cybersecurity or networkingSuccess selling solutions to public administration (education, healthcare, local government)Strong knowledge of IT security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, IDS/IPS)Track record of quota achievement and career stabilityExcellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesGoal-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilitiescommunicationnegotiationleadershipfirewallsVPNsantivirus
