Tour Managers / Tour LeadersInternational Group Tours in Italy and Europe | Target Travel
A well-planned journey needs dedicated professionals to bring it to life.
Target Travel, a tour operator specializing in tailor-made travel since 1985, is looking for Tour Managers to accompany international groups throughout Italy and Europe on cultural, educational, musical and experiential tours.
We are looking for people who share our approach to travel and would like to build a professional relationship based on expertise, trust and mutual responsibility.
Our Approach to Travel We believe that traveling means much more than visiting a destination. It means discovering, connecting, learning and returning home with a different perspective.
Our goal is to create thoughtful, meaningful experiences that connect travelers with places and the people who call them home. We believe in mindful travel that respects local communities, traditions, the environment and cultural heritage—including its less visible dimensions: knowledge, craftsmanship, customs and stories.
We like to think of it as “traveling on tiptoe”: engaging with curiosity and an open mind, without intruding, and contributing something of value rather than simply passing through.
The Tour Manager plays an essential role in bringing this vision to life.
Your Role You will be the group’s main point of contact throughout the journey and the link between travelers, our operations team and the local professionals involved.
We will ask you to do more than follow an itinerary. We will count on you to understand its purpose, coordinate its delivery and contribute to the quality of the overall experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing thoroughly for each assignment , reviewing the itinerary, documentation and group profile in consultation with our team.
- Coordinating the day-to-day running of the tour , working with local guides, drivers, hotels and other suppliers while respecting the itinerary, everyone
