Develops and maintains a positive relationship with internal functions and clients All levels of Contracts Specialist and administrators.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Departmental improvement initiatives deliveryProvide manpower and bid forecasts to Business Line Management as necessaryManage the relationships with all Contracts Management Stakeholders including:Project ManagementEngineeringProcurementSubcontractsFabricationConstructionMarine InstallationHook Up and CommissioningConsortium or JV PartnerQHSELegalFinanceBusiness Line ManagementEXCOMCustomer/ClientContribute to the Annual Business Line budgetContribute to Department goals and strategyContribute to General improvement of department and systemsContract negotiations with customers/clientsCoordinate with Contracts Director/Senior Contracts Director on workloads and resourcesEnsure Contracts & Senior Contracts Specialists coordinate appropriate activitiesOwn and lead the implementation, enforcement,



and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teamsQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, legal, Commercial, or Quantity Surveying and 10 years of Contracts Management experience in addition to other functional experience with at least 5 years of management experienceProven experience in contract management within the Engineering Procurement Construction and Installation (EPC/EPCI) industry, in the areas of Energy Transition, Onshore, or Offshore or Subsea and Floating Facilities (FPSO/FPU)In-depth knowledge of EPC/EPCI project lifecycles, including design, procurement, construction, and installation phasesCan build rapport with and gain respect from employees with varied experience and backgroundFamiliarity with industry-specific terminologies, contracts, and standardsStrong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomesAbility to analyze complex contract requirements and identify potential risksExcellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholdersProficient in using contract management software and MS Office SuiteDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlinesAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
