Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Head Sommelier to join our esteemed food and beverage team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Sommelier to ensure an exceptional wine experience for our discerning guests. - Assist in managing the resort's extensive wine programme,



including inventory control and cellar management - Collaborate with the Head Sommelier to curate and update wine lists for multiple restaurants within the resort - Provide expert wine recommendations and food pairing suggestions to guests - Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for both guests and staff - Train and mentor junior sommeliers and wine service staff - Assist in maintaining relationships with wine suppliers and negotiating purchases - Ensure proper storage and handling of all wines to maintain quality - Participate in budget planning and cost control measures for the wine programme - Stay informed about current wine trends and emerging wine regions - Assist in organising wine-focused events and promotions vetrinabakeca
