You will investigate complex customer issues, debug and maintain backend components, develop and validate hotfixes, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute targeted product improvements in a long-term enterprise support environment.You will work in an English-speaking, distributed product-support organization serving SAP stakeholders and enterprise customers. The role combines hands‑on backend development with operational support: incident ownership, customer‑focused investigation, maintenance engineering, and continuous improvement. Collaboration will span development, support leadership, architecture, and service delivery.What you'll be doingAnalyze and resolve L2/L3 product incidentsReproduce issues and perform structured root-cause analysisDebug C#/.NET and C/C++ componentsDevelop, test, and validate hotfixes and maintenance changesInvestigate customer-reported defects and performance issuesDocument findings, fixes, and reusable troubleshooting guidanceContribute focused feature and product-quality improvementsWhat you'll bring alongBSc/MSc in Computer Science or related field5-7 years of software development experienceStrong hands‑on C# and .NET development skillsPractical C or C++ development and debugging experienceSolid SQL and relational database knowledgeExperience with SAP PowerDesignerComfortable owning technical investigations end to endPowerShell or VBScript scripting skillsBalances code quality with timely incident resolutionFamiliarity with data‑modelling tools and conceptsCommunicates clearly with customers and distributed teamsEnterprise software or product‑support experienceWorks effectively as an individual contributorExperience supporting long‑lived desktop or backend productsStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving skillsExperience with Agile development methodologiesGood written and spoken English communication skillsWhat’s in it for youNew beginnings can be a challenge.
