We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team as a Facility Manager , responsible for managing and maintaining company facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and operational continuity within the assigned area.
Location: Somaglia, Italy
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with managers to organize and implement maintenance activities required to comply with current regulations and business needs, assessing technical feasibility and overseeing works during the execution phase.
- Conduct audits to evaluate the level of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance required at the site.
- Coordinate routine and extraordinary maintenance activities, both through external suppliers and property owners, in compliance with lease agreements and applicable legislation.
- Provide support during emergencies and collaborate with the relevant authorities and on-site colleagues to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Manage relationships with service providers and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of infrastructure improvement projects, proposing enhancements that can be implemented across company sites.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Facility Management, preferably within logistics and transportation companies.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a structured and international environment.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal relationship management skills.
- Availability to travel within the assigned geographical area Pavia-Piacenza-Somaglia
