Role Conditions
- Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Overtime: Additional overtime available, potentially taking hours up to 56+ per week
- Travel Expenses: Up to €250 paid at the start/end of contract
- Accommodation: Not provided
- Tooling: Own tools required
About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to support ongoing aircraft production on the M345/M346 Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Venegono, Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aerospace mechanical fitters with a strong background in aircraft assembly, particularly those with M345/M346 or fast-jet experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and assembly of aircraft mechanical systems, including:
- Hydraulics
- Fuel systems
- Undercarriage
- Canopy
- ECS
- Functional testing of mechanical systems.
- Flying control rigging.
- Aircraft jacking.
- Operation of hydraulic rigs.
- Supporting aircraft ground movements.
- Reading and interpreting technical documentation and engineering drawings.
- Carrying out bonding checks.
- Working in accordance with aerospace quality, safety and production standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ aerospace mechanical fitting experience preferred.
- Proven experience in aircraft mechanical assembly and installation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience working to high aerospace quality standards.
- Own tooling required.
- Ability to work the required two-shift pattern.
- English or Italian language skills – one required.
- Right to work in the EU.
- Previous M345/M346 experience.
- Experience with aircraft hydraulic and fuel systems.
- Experience with flying control rigging and functional testing.
- Previous Final Assembly Line (FAL) experience.
