Overview
In this role you drive sales and technical proposals for Energy & Air Systems, translating customer needs into value-driven solutions. You work closely with sales, engineering, and field services to optimize production processes and deliver measurable impact. You'll conduct mill audits, develop tailored technical/commercial proposals, and build long-term customer relationships across markets. This is a cross-functional, international role with opportunities to influence product scope and delivery. Responsabilità
- Pursue sales leads and work toward targets across the Energy & Air Systems portfolio
- Assess customer needs and propose suitable technologies, products, and services
- Negotiate pricing and delivery times within authority limits and finalize sales orders
- Identify and contact prospective customers, building long-term trust-based relationships
- Collaborate with Sales, Application, Product Management, Engineering, and Field Services to create technical and commercial proposals
- Develop commercial and technical proposals (dimensioning, layouts, specifications, cost/price proposals) highlighting impact on production process and running costs
- Prepare process calculations and basic requirements using Valmet dimensioning tools
- Carry out mill audits, analyze data, and prepare reports and recommended solutions
- Provide support to Market Areas in defining the scope of supply and preparing quotations in line with Valmet specifications and policies
Requisiti fondamentali
- Technical Diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software-related field (engineering degree preferred)
- At least five years of experience in engineering, technology, or sales
